I made a wager on a site Sun. The message following my bet was "Wager accepted" and the money was taken from my account. 30 mins after the race (which I WON), my bet was put back into my account and the bet was marked "Cancelled".
I called the service and was told that "Due to a computer glitch, the lines stayed open and the bet was accepted by accident".
My next question is therefore; am I not entitled to the payout?
Appreciate your help here.

For now I will not post their name. I will assume that they will likely read this and hopefully decide to be fair. If not, I will gladly give up the name.
bet was $40 trifecta.....paid $169/$2
Hence my reason for being a little aggravated.

I am sure the local bookie would love to take your action and get track odds. The bookies have tape of your bet, so as long as you don't past post you are in.

You are right Early. I am just making sure that nobody buys into this scammer. He is on the main page and didn't like the answers that he was given. So he thought he would come down here and pollute your forum. I know you guys are 2 smart to buy into it and I apologize for polluting your forum.

Best of luck today!!

I hang in the rubber room alot and am no stranger to flames--i actually enjoy them--my responses to you and musa are tongue in cheek and should not be taken seriously--and this in no way is my forum--it belongs to anybody who has an opinion on a four legged creature who eats hay and farts!!!

EarlySpeed:
This is my FIRSt day on this board - I was handed the URL by BeverlyHillsBookie and told that there would be a good group of people here who could maybe help me.
I posted on 3 fronts as I was not sure which board received the "action" - the first board, the noob board and the horse board. It had nothing to do with "not liking the answers I received" as Clown put it. Actually, having read posts from many people here ,I have discovered rather quickly that he has "issues". I figure that he is a poor bettor who has run the gamut of scams and failed miserably. Now that he sees me wit hthis situation, he quickly jumps on the opposing side because of his "sour grapes" attitude. My dilemma was an honest one that actually had nothing to do with me except that I owned the account. The real story has to do with my Father-in-law who is out the money - this is his living.
Having read many views, I still see several people who say that there should be some form of restitution.
The book was Virtualbookmaker.com
the contact there was Bruce Johnson
They were stammering when I asked whether ALL losers were refunded or not - seems nobody would put their reputation to that on tape. (concerns me)
and lastly, they closed my account because I spoke out.
